Golden routes

Saved O/D pairs frozen across Fast, Calm, and Safe. Each row opens in the Google benchmark (blind A/B test that produces a benchmark response), in Compare (open Ours-vs-Google overlay for inspection — no survey), or via Walk for an on-foot field walk on a phone. Annotations and benchmark responses surface back here.

How this works

  1. Save. On /map pick a start and end, hit Save golden route, name it and sign it. Fast / Calm / Safe are frozen for that O/D pair at the current Zurich time bucket.
  2. List. The saved route shows up in the table below, newest first. Search filters by name, submitter, or description.
  3. Benchmark (desk). Click Benchmark on any row to take the blind Route A / Route B Fast test against today's Google walking directions — the answer is recorded as a benchmark response on the golden. Click Compare instead for the same overlay with provider labels visible and no survey, when you just want to look.
  4. Walk (phone). Click Walk for a QR popover. Scan it on a phone to open /field on the route, annotate guidance nodes as you walk, and rate the walk at the end. See /field-testing for the chip and rating reference.
  5. Review. Click Review on any row that has walks to open /field-review on the same route — node annotations grouped by walker plus the two end-of-walk ratings.
